Are you looking for new behavior management techniques?  Do you feel like your students' behaviors are getting in the way of their learning?  Come to this crash course on behavior modification.  In this presentation, I will review basic behavior principles and how they translate into designing effective classroom management practices.  I will discuss current best practices in the field of behavior management and different strategies for working with students with challenging behaviors (emotional and behavioral disorders).  I will review proactive and reactive consequence plans and teach teachers how they can simply and efficiently collect functional behavior data on students' problem behaviors to help them design better, more effective interventions.  Location: Room 4
